Karen J. Greenberg (born 9 June 1955) is an American professor and author.[1][2][3]
Education
Greenberg's undergraduate degree in history is from Cornell University.[1] Her PhD, also in history, is from Yale University.
Academic career
Greenberg is currently Director of the Center on National Security at Fordham Law School.[4] Previously, Greenberg was Executive Director of the Center on Law and Security at New York University.[3] Previously she taught at Bard College.
Greenberg is the coauthor, with Joshua L. Dratel, of two books on the George W. Bush Presidency's policy on captives apprehended in the "global war on terror". In 2005 they published The Torture Papers: The Road to Abu Ghraib.[5] In 2008 they published The Enemy Combatant Papers: American Justice, the Courts, and the War on Terror.[6] In 2009 Greenberg published The Least Worst Place: Guantanamo's First 100 Days.[7][8] [9]
